Right Sector brags of armed support for seizure of UOC church in Dubivtsi

Radicals reveal which groups participated in the raid in Bukovyna.
Fighters of the DUK "Right Sector", "Right Youth" activists, and members of the All-Ukrainian Union "Tryzub" named after S. Bandera took part in the raid on the Dormition Church of the UOC in the Bukovynian village of Dubivtsi on April 1, 2025, says a post on the "Right Sector" page on April 3, 2025.
According to the resource, the militants "stood in defence of the community of the village of Dubivtsi", which allegedly "made its conscious choice" to move from the UOC to the OCU.
The right-wing radicals claim that it was the Orthodox believers who gathered on that day near the seized shrine who were "outsiders", brought by buses to the location. They, not the incoming militants, allegedly tried to "forcefully impose their will on the community".
"But Ukrainian nationalists did not let them break the will of the community! The church belongs to the people, not to Ukraine's enemies!" boasted the "Right Sector".
As reported by the UOJ, in the village of Dubivtsi, Chernivtsi region, clergymen and representatives of the OCU, along with militants wearing balaclavas, seized the Dormition Church of the UOC. The UOC priest from Dubivtsi addressed the militants: "My brother went missing in the war, and what are you doing here instead?"
