Zelensky's seat is located in the front row.

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, has a personal seat in the main synagogue of Kyiv – the Brodsky synagogue. This was reported in an interview with DW by the only rabbi-chaplain, David Milman.

Zelensky's seat is placed in the front row. According to Milman, when Zelensky is not at the service, someone else may sit in his place. Milman did not specify whether the President regularly attends the synagogue or if he does so at all.

He also stated that all seats in the central hall of the Brodsky synagogue are reserved.

It will be recalled that the chief rabbi of Ukraine refuted Lavrov's statement that Zelensky is a "shame of the Jewish people".

Earlier, the UOJ reported that Zelensky regularly invites rabbis to the Office of the President to conduct Jewish rituals.
