Not long before leaving the house, the girl, contrary to her usual habit, asked her mother to put on her body cross.

In Sumy, they continue to clarify the details of the tragedy that occurred as a result of a missile strike on Palm Sunday. Among the survivors were a little girl named Liza and her mother Tetiana, who were in a bus that was caught in the strike zone.

As reported by the portal Kordon.Media, shortly before leaving home, the girl, contrary to her usual habit, asked her mother to put on her a body cross.

“When we were getting dressed, my daughter said: 'Put on my cross'. She doesn’t like to wear it, but that day she said, ‘Put it on.’ I was even surprised,” Tetiana recounted.

At the moment of the explosion, the mother instinctively shielded her daughter with her body. According to her, after the strike, she continued to sit in the same position, fearing possible shrapnel.

Both the mother and daughter received only minor cuts from the glass. However, Tetiana is currently experiencing emotional stress: “The baby is gradually recovering from teh experience, but I am the opposite. When we are in the car, I have the feeling that it will all happen again.”

Earlier, the UOJ reported that as a result of the missile strike on Sumy on Palm Sunday, the brother of the Tulchyn archbishop, Vitaliy Anitsoi, was killed.
