A model of a gas pipeline used by Russian soldiers during a military operation against the Ukrainian Armed Forces was installed outside the Church on the Blood in Yekaterinburg.

On March 25, 2025, a performance was held near the Church on the Blood in Yekaterinburg to mark the installation of a mock-up pipeline, symbolizing how Russian troops entered the town of Sudzha during a military operation. The event was reported by the local outlet 66.ru.

Present at the event were members of the Wagner PMC, regional ombudswoman Tatyana Merzlyakova, and the chief military chaplain of the Russian Orthodox Church, Dmitry Vasilenkov.

The opening ceremony was led by Metropolitan Evgeny (Kulberg) of Yekaterinburg and Verkhoturye, who likened Russia’s military action to the folktale of Koschei the Deathless, saying “our warriors went deep, reached the egg, and broke the needle.”

A concert also took place on a stage set up directly next to the church, featuring singer Vika Tsyganova, who performed a specially written song titled “The Pipe”.

🎵 The Pipe by Vika Tsyganova (translated and adapted lyrics)

The pipe — it’s a Russian word!
The pipe — like a battle sword!
The pipe — you’re toast, for sure!
The pipe! The pipe! No cure!

The pipe — no place to hide!
The pipe — it’s do or die!
The pipe — your end has come!
The pipe! The pipe! You're done!

Earlier, the UOJ reported that the ROC had announced the death of a “warrior-monk” in Ukraine.
