On March 19, 2025, Wednesday of the third week of Great Lent, His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry of Kyiv and All Ukraine and the bishops of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church prayed at the Divine Liturgy before the beginning of the work of the Holy Synod of the UOC in the St. Panteleimon Convent in Feofaniya, the press service of the UOC reports.

The Liturgy of the Presanctified Gifts was led by the permanent member of the Holy Synod, Metropolitan Theodore of Kamianets-Podilskyi and Gorodok, in the Church of All Saints at the residence of the Primate.

At the litany of supplication, prayers were offered for peace on Ukrainian soil, for the protection and strengthening of the government and army, for God's mercy for those who lost their homes, and also for blessings for people who help those in need.
