Zelensky has a meal with Muslims at Iftar

The president addressed those present with: "As-salamu alaykum".
On March 14, 2025, Volodymyr Zelensky had dinner with Muslims at iftar, the evening meal that takes place after sunset prayer during the holy month of Ramadan. This was reported by the Presidential Office website.
At the beginning of his speech, Zelensky greeted those present with "As-salamu alaykum". He then noted that "this year, our important diplomatic efforts, as well as the efforts of our partners to bring a just peace to Ukraine, have coincided with Ramadan."
He mentioned contacts with Turkey and expressed hope that "the prayers of our people and our friends for peace and for Ukraine will help fulfill the efforts of the United States, Europe, and the entire world to bring about peace and security – efforts of our warriors and all our citizens."
According to the president, "we remember our Crimea, we will never forget it – our Ukrainian Crimea."
"We are working so that all our people can return home, whether for Ramadan or for Easter. And together, we are bringing peace and justice closer for everyone in Ukraine, for our Ukraine," he emphasized.
He then joined the meal with Muslims under the prayer "Allahu Akbar".
It will be reminded that Zelensky previously stated that after speaking with him, a paralyzed person began to walk.
