Mandatory attendance: Villagers summoned for meeting to "transfer" to OCU

Residents of the locality are being summoned on Sunday, November 10.
In the village of Siyantsi, within the Ostroh community in Rivne region, a community meeting is scheduled for Sunday, November 10, to discuss the "transfer" of the local St. George's parish of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC) to the Orthodox Church of Ukraine (OCU). Announcements were posted on the village’s Facebook page.
The meeting will be held at the village club at 2:00 p.m.
"Attendance is mandatory for all residents of the Siyantsi district," the organizers wrote.
Previously, it was reported that in Dovhoshyi, a liturgy was held in a newly built UOC church to replace the one that had been seized.
