Head of National Police: At Trinity believers kept distance and wore masks

Nearly 200 thousand believers came to churches to celebrate the Feast of the Holy Trinity, Igor Klimenko said.
Participants in the festive worship on the Trinity holiday wore face masks and kept a social distance. The head of the National Police of Ukraine Igor Klimenko said this during a meeting on preventing the spread of coronavirus infection, which was chaired by President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky on June 8, 2020, the President’s Office reports.
According to Mr. Klimenko, the celebration of the Trinity holiday all in all brought about 200 thousand believers to churches, however, "clergy and parishioners adhered to the rules of social distance and mask regimen."
“The holiday went quitely,” stressed the head of the National Police.
We will remind, earlier the National Police reported that Easter services were held without violating quarantine restrictions in the vast majority of churches.
